Never thought I'd leave the country let alone go to Jamaica of all places, and in 2020 of all years-- but sometimes gifts come into our life that we didn't expect, and as long as we're open to those experiences and aware of those around us-- life can have some magical surprises. I am beyond grateful that I was able to take as many tests as I did before leaving. I'm grateful to have had access to the masks I did to keep myself and others safe. I am beyond thankful for my lovely friends, both physical and virtual- and I'm absolutely in awe of the universe for allowing me to go on this trip, and have the time I did to quarantine properly after I returned. I'm grateful I was able to see the people I love in a time when so many have lost so much. I'm just beyond thankful for this experience. I wish I could give each and every one of you the same exact experience I had- you all deserve to feel the love and joy I felt this christmas. But with that- feelings are just that, feelings. They come and go. I'm not always happy and every day is a practice to feel a little more ok with not feeling ok. We're all working through some kind of darkness. Please don't ever feel that you are truly alone.
Sending love to everyone taking the time to read this-- you are appreciated, your life has value, and your perspective is something no one can take from you. Love yourself, and stay safe.
If you want a cool mask this is where I get all of mine! She's amazing! [not sponsored]
