If these are regular discussions I'm going to be here more often. I'm glad that this is being discussed openly. Black and Brown folk have got to be the most patient people on the planet. I'm a white cis upper 57-year-old cannabis user and I know I wouldn't be able to take without breaking what our Neighbors of Color have tolerated for 500 years. I would have become violent and destructive within about 7 days or less. One more thing I personally am not for legalization because it always leads to, regulation, licensing, fees, taxes, etc. so high that only upper incomes can afford to be in business or purchase medicine. Which excludes POC, poor, and some middle class folk. I wish people had fought for decriminalization of every step between cultivation and consumption. Then businesses like Clean Green could provide certifications even stronger than organic. Personally I hope the ethical underground market stays grows stronger - I refuse to support legal dispensaries.

Absolutely agree that we need to defund the police! That money will be so much more useful when it’s out back into the community!
