Hola Amigas!

This week, I am sharing why I have left the cannabis industry, and things I wish I knew before getting into this industry.

If you are considering making a change to the cannabis industry, watch this video first to avoid the mistakes I made.

Love You All!

Thank you for the information beautiful xo there are definitely things that happen out of our control. But everyone’s experience will be different. May have different goals and want to gain certain knowledge. It’s not all about the money. Hair school. Nursing school and even have the same feel if you are in certain areas. I’ve been a hairstylist for over 10 years. Renewing licenses. Building clientele. Time. Money. Energy. But if you truly love it, and can stick out the situation until you advance than I say go! But I love your content xo and your glasses are mad cute! Xoxo

Great video! Thanks for sharing your insights from working in the industry. I just got my handler's permit in my state and wanted to start working PT at a dispensary, but most pay the state minimum wage or close to it (usually always under $15 for a non-managerial experience). Do you think it's an easy way to make some extra money as I continue working full-time at another job? Trying to find a really good shop that's sustainable, cares about its employees, and cares about the industry but I know so many good small shops can't survive and are being bought out by corporations who, like you said, don't know much and only want to make as much money as possible. The whole industry is going to be corrupt just like Big Pharma before it's even legal nationwide!

I think you also make a really good point about pesticides and sustainability. While we aren't in control of what these companies do, we undermine the power of our practices as consumers to change the way shoddy businesses operate. They want to make money, unfortunately as consumers, we have to support the shops and companies that actually practice what they preach and genuinely care about people and the planet.

get a job doing something you love & you never work a day in your life. this line of work is a privilege not all of us are lucky enough to have. it may not be smart, but i'd leave my job that pays $15 an hour to work at a dispensary for $7.25 there is more to life than money. but i guess since im not a pretty girl or a hip young guy then im not good enough to be a budtender.. wasted my time & money persuing this legally. id kiss some major ass just for the OPPORTUNITY to work at a dispensary.
