Hi everyone. Hope you are all happy and healthy. So on this weeks show we will look at amending our coco coir. The coco does not have nutrients in it to support the growth of a plant. So we will be adding or amending fertilizers to the coco. We will simply measure the desired amount per gallon of soil used. We grow all of our plants with Down to Earth all natural organic fertilizers. This is a very easy time release style of growing. It makes feeding in the garden simple, once a month. Now that we have some of our coco soil mixed up, we are going to plant one seed of Peyote Gorilla from Seedsman. In a second container we will plant a seed found in our Peyote Gorilla from the last harvest. We will put these containers in the Auto Sky Closet and have a little phenohunt.
The Sky High Closet is our large grow room. We have two Electric Sky ES300 lights end to end powering this grow closet, and they do great! Our plants have just started the 3rd week in flower and look great! The tallest plant is almost 6 feet tall. That"s the CBD Seeds One to One plant. One of our plants was a younger clone. This Persephone clone ended up stretching enough due to flowering that we don't need the boost any more. That is one part of growing to watch for. When the lights get changed to a 12/12 cycle. The plant will start to flower. As it does it can easily double in height. The amount a plant will stretch is different from strain to strain. There is also quite a bit of leaf growth in the grow closet. So am going to show how you can expose more bud sites to good light by cutting back the leaf's.
In our Ultra Yield 3x3 tent we have several of our sativa, and sativa hybrid plants. These girls are under our Spectrum King Closet Case 140 light doing great. They ar in week 4 of flower and getting frosty. Sativa plants usually take a few weeks longer to grow than the other plants. In here we have the Maui Waui, Blue Dream, and Killer A5 Haze. Its nice to see the plants start to form nice buds that are starting to fill in a bit. It is always wonderful to see the trichome development.
Thank you to every one watching. Tune in next week for more how to grow weed at home, cannabis growing documentary. Please like, subscribe, and comment.
Your strains sound really good. I wonder if the Hulkberry is anything like my OGKushxBerries. Garden looks great. I want to try running a few with dry amendments to see if I like it. Lately, all my plants keep turning yellow. I did switch to a new plant food. That could be the reason. I haven't mastered it yet.
