Stretching Routine + Working out with Cramps

Welcome!!! Mota Wellness is taking on our lest favorite time of the month. Aunt flow doesn’t mean you need to be stuck in bed all day!! Here’s a run through some light body movements to help you feel alive again. Please speak to your doctor if you’re experiencing extreme pain. We are tough but it’s ok to ask for help. I’ve used this main stretch as my go to when I am feeling too overwhelmed with cramps.

Work Out:
Jump Squats + Resistance Band 12 reps x3
Pistol Squat + Resistance Band 12 reps x3
Plank to Downward Dog

Stretching Routine / Cool Down:
Sun Salutation
From standing walk hands into a plank, then step into a deep lunge. Reach to the sky opening the chest, alternate side. Repeat this rotation until you’re satisfied. 🙂
